Even as the Returning officer Shri R D Agrawal, Senior Advocate is busy at IFFCO headquarters in Delhi overseeing the huge election machinery working efficiently and fairly, there are reports coming in from various parts of the country about people getting elected unopposed as delegates. The social media is flooded with the posts of these delegates.
Talking to Indian Cooperative Tarun Bhargava, the IFFCO official assisting the RO said on Thursday that the final picture of the elected candidates would emerge only by the late evening. “I would give you all the details and I don’t wish you to rush with the news unprepared” he said cautioning patience.
Meanwhile, the ever active social media threw up many stories. In Uttarakhand 28 delegates have been elected unopposed. 10 elected from Kumaon Mandal and 18 from Garhwal Mandal. The veteran cooperator from Uttarakhand Pramod Kumar Singh was also elected as IFFCO’s delegates. All the elected delegates belong to the Congress Party.
IFFCO’s delegates from Uttarakhand including Susheel Rathi, Anil Kumar, Subham Kumar and some others are all new comers. The director were elected unopposed.
The Chairman of Bilari Sugarcane Society Arvind Mohan has been elected as IFFCO’s delegate from Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh constituency.
Former Sarpanch Shriram Chaudhary has been elected as IFFCO’s delegate from Tonk and Dausa in Rajasthan. Election officer Kishan Singh informed that as there was a single nomination, he was elected unopposed. The local MLA Prashant Bhairav congratulated Chaudhary on his election and greeted him with garlands.

From Punjab, Sardar Gurmal Singh has been elected as the RGB member of IFFCO. From Gujarat Chiloda Sewa Samiti Chairman Jindibhai Patel has been elected as the delegate.
Krishna Jain has been elected as the delegate from Rajasthan. One of his follower wrote on Social Media, “Election officer M R Jakhad Sangaria declared Krishan Jain elected as the delegate from Hanumangarh, Bikaner and Churu zone. Later, Jain thanked the congress leaders”.
Welcoming the newly elected RGB members IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi tweeted “Happy to share that the 1st phase of election to constitute the 14th RGB of IFFCO has been completed successfully and peacefully. This is a one-of-a-kind exercise in the coop. sector of India. I cong. and welcome all the delegates from across India to the #IFFCO family.”
