R P Singh, IFFCO’s Director overseeing HR and Legal affairs launched the Odiya version of iffco yuva portal at an impressive gathering in Paradeep, Odisha. IFFCO YUVA will help rural youth to boost their employability, said Singh.
A large number of local youths as well as IFFCO’s vendors & suppliers were present on the occasion leading IFFCO MD to tweet “Glad to announce that #IFFCO’s skill development & employment initiative @iffco_yuva portal now launched in #Odiya language at IFFCO #Paradeep plant by @Rpsingh5153P, Director (HR&Legal), IFFCO. Objective is to find out more employment opportunities for #rural youth. #IFFCOYuva.”
Readers would recall that in April last year Union Minister of State for Labor and Employment Santosh Gangwar had launched IFFCO Yuva-a unique digital initiative aimed at skilling rural youth in Barelli. “It is in line with the Prime Minister vision of Digital India and Skill India”, Gangwar had claimed.
Earlier, IFFCOYUVA was launched at several places including Phulpur plant of IFFCO. This year in January Union Minister Sadananad Gowda released a CD on IFFCO Yuva in a co-op conference in Bangalore.
It bears recall that IFFCO has joined hands with Youth4work- an online platform dedicated to improving the skills of the youth to launch ‘IFFCO YUVA’. It’s a big move in the sense that any youth from rural India can access this platform, assess and decide for themselves where they can excel, said R P Singh.
The website Youth4work.com claims to be a ‘People Platform’ which empowers youth to assess themselves, improve their talents and showcase their talents and professional achievements.
