If India celebrated its 73rd Republic Day with the iconic parade at Delhi’s Rajpath then the largest fertilizer cooperative of India-IFFCO created history by successfully crossing the production of 2 crore bottles of Nano Urea on the occasion.
A euphoric IFFCO MD Dr. U S Awasthi wrote on Twitter, “Congratulations to everyone. Today on the auspicious occasion of 73rd #RepublicDay; #IFFCO has successfully crossed the production of 2 Crore bottles of truly #MakeInIndia innovative environment-friendly #IFFCONanoUrea for farmers across the world”.
Thanking Awasthi for his leadership, the scientist behind the Nano Urea Ramesh Ralaliya said “Very glad that the milestone of 2 Cr Nano Urea bottles achieved on this auspicious Republic Day of India! Thanks to the entire team involved and the great support and mentorship – support of @drusawasthi sir”.
IFFCO, one of the officials said, “It is very easy to use by the farmers. One 500 ml bottle of Nano Urea is sufficient for spraying two times over an acre of field. Now, instead of carrying a 45 kg bag of Urea on the shoulder, farmers can easily carry a 500 ml bottle of IFFCO Nano Urea to the fields”.
It is to be noted that now IFFCO is working on a new project which emphasizes the spraying of the Nano Urea in the fields through Drone technology.
