IFFCO’s latest initiative in empowering woman folks in rural Madhya Pradesh has been a talking point in the cooperative circle, claims IFFCO PR which also adds the fertilizer cooperative is ever eager to bring a smile to the face of people in the countryside through innovative ideas.
In the Khargone district of Indore, IFFCO had organized a three day program to train rural women into using soybean for making various products for the market. As a result of this training, claims IFFCO, these women are earning about Rs 57 thousand annually.
The trade secret is preparing 8 liter milk out of 1 Kg soybean and making fast buck by selling it in the market.
A visible jubilant MD of the cooperative behemoth Dr U S Awasthi said ” IFFCO brings a smile on the face of rural women’ in Indore, MP; training them on how to make milk and toffee from soybean”. His tweet read “IFFCO has brought another success story. With the help of training IFFCO had changed the life of rural women”.
