Towards winding up his tour of the cities of West Bengal, IFFCO MD visited Midnapur where he hailed the work done by ‘Indian Farm Forestry Development Cooperative’ in the development of tree plantation enhancing socio-economic status of rural poor through sustainable Natural Resource Management by collective action.

Around 2000 farmers along with cooperators attended the IFFCO meet with full enthusiasm and learnt about the value of Cashless Economy. Special awareness camps had been held for farmers.
Later on Thursday he landed in Delhi and held series of meetings with the staffs at IFFCO Sadan. There was also Board meeting. He wanted to wrap up the pending works before his next sojourn which is Maharashtra.
