With the successful launching of Nano Urea by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, now IFFCO is geared up to welcome delegates coming from different parts of the country to attend the 51st Annual General Meeting, slated for 1st June 2022 at the NCUI auditorium.
There is enthusiasm also because it’s a gap of over two years that IFFCO is organizing the AGM. We are still cautious and are following the necessary measures; Covid may be down but it’s not out”, said IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi to Indian Cooperative.
Due to Covid-19, the fertilizer cooperative had earlier organized AGMs in the hybrid mode.
The delegates representing close to 36 thousand cooperative societies are going to take part in the meeting. It is said that IFFCO would again this year give a dividend of 20 percent to its delegates.
Dileep Sanghani, who is in Delhi attending the Board meeting today, will address the meeting for the first time as the Chairman.
In his message, IFFCO MD said the fertilizer cooperative’s profit before tax is expected to be more than Rs 2000 crore.
