A report has come in that Institute of Cooperative Management (ICM), Bhopal will hold its flagship international programme in partnership with Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (EDI), Ahmadabad. The programme is part of ITEC/SCAAP Programme sponsored by Ministry of External Affairs, Govt of India.
The foreign participants in the programme will attend “Agri Entrepreneurship & Supply Chain management” at EDI Ahmedabad. Countries like Syria, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Ghana, Congo, Nigar, Indonesia are sending their officials from government departments, NGOs ,people working in Agro/food processing/ fishery/ animal husbandry sectors etc to learn the dynamics of emerging agri Business opportunities, Commodity market and Supply Chain Management and cooperative management.
Dr. A. K. Asthana, Director of ICM Bhopal will deliver the keynote address on the subject “Entrepreneurship in Agriculture” and “Cooperation and Cooperative Management– A Business Model”, reads a press release sent by Dr Asthana.
Participants will also be enlightened on India’s successful cooperative business models like IFFCO, sugar cooperatives and marketing cooperatives.
