Dr Chandrapal Singh Yadav, President of ICA Asia-Pacific (AP), held an online meeting last week with Regional Director, ICA-AP, Balasubramanian Iyer, & Deputy Chief Executive, NCUI to discuss various matters related to the ICA Governance.
Talking to the Indian Cooperative, Yadav said that the goal of ICA AP is to remove obstacles in the path of co-op growth in the member states. “We deliberated on the issue”, he added.
It bears recalling that ICA AP has more than 33 nations as its members which include giants like China and India and smaller countries like Nepal and Maldives.
Leaders also discussed the Youth Summit slated to be held in Sabah, Malaysia from 27 – 30 July 2023 on the theme “Cooperation for Sustainable Lifestyles” and the role youth can play in it.
