Hyderabad-based Citizen Cooperative Society, one of India’s leading credit cooperatives, has donated Rs 10 lakh to the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to aid in the rehabilitation of flood victims.
The cheque was personally presented to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu by the Society’s Chairman PRVPSN Raju and Managing Director K. V. Subbaiah.
The Chief Minister expressed his sincere gratitude to the society’s representatives for their support in aiding the flood victims.
Andhra Pradesh is currently facing a severe flood crisis, with relentless rains over the past week submerging several areas and displacing thousands of people.
While relief efforts are ongoing, the need for rehabilitation remains urgent as flooding continues to affect more regions.
