During the Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit 2023, NDDB Chairman Meenesh Shah welcomed the state chief minister Yogi Adityanath to the pavilion of NDDB, its subsidiaries & managed units. Shah briefed Yogi on various activities of NDDB.
Later, he shared dais with Union Minister Parshottam Rupala and addressed the audience saying “Milk is a product which provides revenue to farmers and helps conversion of cow dung into fuel, BioCNG & organic manure, which have potential to increase farmers’ income”.
Meenesh Shah underlined that UP is the largest milk producing state with about 10-15% market surplus which is being handled by organised sector. Investors have opportunities in the field of milk processing & marketing, value added products, providing AI services, fodder production & cattle credit & insurance, asserted Shah.
Meanwhile, addressing the Global Investors Summit-2023’s session on “Strengthening of MSMEs and Cooperatives” in Lucknow, Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah said Cooperatives and MSMEs have huge employment potential for the state of Uttar Pradesh.
