Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Milk Producers Limited (HPMILKFED) organized its 26th Annual General Meeting recently, in which the financial data for 2018-19, 2019-20, and 2020-21 were presented before the delegates.
On this occasion, the award has been distributed to the best performing milk producer cooperative societies during the last four years.
The first prize of ten thousand rupees at the state level was given to The Jhalli Milk Utpadak Cooperative Society of Kullu district.
The second prize of Rs 7500 was given to the Kunnu Milk Utpadak Cooperative society of Mandi district. And the third prize was given to the Shamshi Mahadev Milk Producer Committee, Karana, District Kullu.
Addressing the participants, the State Milk Federation President Nihal Chand Thakur said that a total of 977 milk societies are functioning in the state, and there are more than 42 thousand 500 members.
