Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank is in the process of constructing a training centre along with the branch at Mandi. A team from PWD, local MLA Inder Singh, the bank’s local director Priya Brat Sharma and other officials have visited the site and taken stock of the situation.
“We are planning to construct a four storey building. The land area is about 395 square meter and we are planning to build a training centre, branch office as well as a guest house. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 1.24 crore”, said Sharma on the phone.
He further added that we are hoping that the construction will be started in the next few months. Meanwhile, when Indian Cooperative contacted the bank’s Chairman Khushi Ram Balnatah for his comment on the development, he said, “I don’t know about it”.
