With the closure of the ACC cement plant in Himachal Pradesh’s, the truck operators associated with the Bilaspur District Truck Transport Association are facing difficulty to repay their loan amount especially taken from Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank.
If the Adani Group failed to start the ACC Cement unit, it will not be possible for these operators to repay this loan, said one of the truck operators.
It is being reported that the loans worth Rs 9 crore of Himachal Pradesh Co-operative Bank are with these operators. The loan of 41 crores is pending for new trucks.
