Kangra Central Cooperative Bank (KCCB) which was much in news in recent times has got a Board at last with Rajiv Bhardwaj as its Chairman. The government has constituted a board of three members, reports, The Tribune.
Rajiv Bhardwaj is said to be a Shanta’s loyalist. The other two members are Ranjit Rana and Ramesh Kumar.
A notification has been issued by the Registrar, Cooperative Societies. The government has bypassed the election process for the board members of the KCCB.
The elected board was dissolved by the government in April this year on the charges of corruption over loans and recruitment during the previous Congress government.
