Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri announced that nearly 870 cooperative societies in Himachal Pradesh have been digitalized, making it the first state to reach this milestone, media reports say.
At a recent Cooperative Department review meeting, he emphasized that computerization aims to enhance transparency and prevent irregularities. Discussions included strategies to strengthen cooperative institutions statewide.
The Deputy Chief Minister also directed improvements in cooperative infrastructure, recognizing their importance in the state’s economy.
