Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri extended his gratitude to the Central Government for giving in-principle approval to the Cooperative Department of Himachal Pradesh for the computerization of 919 Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS).
He expressed his thanks through a social media post.
It is worth recalling that a few days ago, the Union Ministry of Cooperation issued an order conveying the Government of India’s approval for the computerization of an additional 921 PACS (919 in Himachal Pradesh and 2 in Madhya Pradesh) under the centrally sponsored project for PACS computerization, following the recommendations of NABARD.
Previously, approval had been granted for the computerization of 5,404 PACS across Himachal Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
