The cooperative banks of Himachal Pradesh are grappling with the highest level of NPAs and it is being said that there is little hope of getting Rs 2226 crore money back, say media reports.
The NPA situation of Agriculture and Rural Development Bank is 34.28 percent, Kangra Central Co-op Bank is 29.17 percent, Baghat Urban Cooperative Bank is 28.80 percent and State Cooperative Bank is 8.68 percent.
Rs 972 crore have been stuck in the agriculture sector.
