PTI reports giving relief to union minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in the Sanjivani cooperative society scam case the Rajasthan high court stayed the ADJ court order that sent a criminal complaint for investigation to the Special Operations Group (SOG).
Shekhawat and some others were named as the alleged accused in the fraud.
In its interim directions the high court also admitted the criminal miscellaneous petition filed by Keval Chand Dakaliya, who is a co-accused along with Shekhawat.
Dakaliya’s petition argued that given specific allegations against them, they should be heard in the matter.
The allegation is that the scam had cost the Sanjivani credit cooperative society a huge amount of Rs 900 crore.
