Orrisa Post reports an assistant secretary of Mangalpur Cooperative Society in Dasrathpur block in Jaipur was suspended following allegations of corrupt transactions in paddy procurement.
The fraud involved Rs 15 lakh. According to the report, the farmers brought the matter to the notice of the High Court.
The Court has ruled that the Joint Director of the Odisha State Cooperative Society should conduct a probe into the fraud.
