The Rajasthan High Court exonerated Union minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in the Sanjivani Credit Cooperative Society scam case, which he called a victory for truth.
Shekhawat’s name surfaced when former CM Ashok Gehlot accused him and his family of involvement. The Court dismissed petition after the Special Operations Group (SOG) reported no incriminating evidence against him.
The court ruled that without proof of Shekhawat’s involvement, further investigation would require trial court permission.
The scam, under investigation since 2019, involved defrauding investors of Rs 900 crore.
