Media reports underline that the Delhi High Court has asked the RBI to be sympathetic to the PMC depositors in the wake of rising Covid cases. Many of them must be dire financial needs and must be helped, felt the Court.
The Court has asked the Centre, RBI and PMC Bank on an application seeking immediate release of emergency funds.
The interim application was filed in the pending petition filed by Bejon Kumar Misra challenging withdrawal limits in PMC Bank.
