Former president of the New Bankers Cooperative Thrift and Credit Society, Panchkula, Sanjeev Sharma has charged the Assistant Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Haryana, with protecting the accused in a case involving misappropriation of funds, reports Tribune.
The case was registered in 2012.
Sharma has urged the authorities concerned to reject the new inquiry report prepared by the Assistant Registrar as well as sought revocation of the RCS order and appointment of an administrator to review the recent decision.
Calling for a strict action in the matter, Sharma has repeated his allegation that some cooperative officials were shielding those involved in the fraud by destroying the records related to the transactions worth crores of rupees.
