Haridwar (Uttarakhand) District Cooperative Bank earned a net profit of Rs 2.27 crore in the 2022-23 financial year.
It was revealed in the 82nd Annual General Meeting of the bank held last week, presided over by the bank’s Chairman Pradeep Choudhary.
Addressing the AGM, Choudhary said, “The total deposits of the bank increased from Rs 756 crore (2021-22) to Rs 824 crore as on 31st March 2023. The bank is providing the interest free short-term agriculture loan up to Rs 1 lakh to the farmers”.
“Under the Deendayal Upadhyaya Sahakarita Kisan Kalyan Yojana, the loan worth Rs 427 crore has been disbursed”, he added.
The chairman also thanked all the employees and officers of the bank for their cooperation in the running of the bank efficiently.
The Bank’s Secretary / General Manager Vishwavijay Singh presented the annual accounts of the year 2022-23 with full details regarding the progress of the bank before the delegates.
On this occasion, Uttarakhand State Cooperative Union Chairman Matwar Singh Rawat, Haridwar DCCB Director Sushil Rathi, IFFCO Regional Manager Rammjan Singh and others were present.
