The Board of Haridwar District Cooperative Bank have decided to take action against the bank managers who lent loans to the farmers without due diligence. The board meeting, which decided for stern action, took place last week.
DCCB Chairman Pradeep Chaudhary said the loan disbursed in past by the DCCB has not recovered yet. The NPA of bank is about Rs 49 crore. Bank will take strict action against the managers who disbursed loan without due diligence.
The Board members were agitated over the issue as several complaints of Bank Managers resorting to illegal financial bungling came to the fore. In the meeting 39 proposals were also passed. The decision also included bonus and promotion to the employees of Bank, a long time demand.
On this occasion, Director Prahlad Singh, Manju Chaudhary, Devendra Agrawal, Susheel Rathi and others were present.
