Handling Corona: Railways tweet to thank IFFCO

The team of IFFCO is trying their best to fight the Coronavirus COVID19 at the grassroots level as its MD Dr U S Awasthi said to Indian Cooperative “We are doing a lot of work all over the country”.

The social media handles of North Western Railway informed “Commerce department, Jaipur Division, North Western Railway has distributed soaps and masks to the laborers engaged in unloading with the cooperation of IFFCO”, it was tweeted.

IFFCO’s field staff spread across the country are busy in providing masks, soaps and other protective gears to the farmers and laborers. Indian Cooperative keeps receiving scores of reports about IFFCO’s contributions in fighting the coronavirus.

In Madhya Pradesh, IFFCO has distributed masks, soaps, hand sanitizers and vitamin C tablets to nearly 200 farmers in Godda and 250 in Deoghar district of State.

Similarly, IFFCO distributed masks, Vitamin C tablets and soaps to more than 300 farm laborers and truck drivers at Chitradurga district in Karnataka.

Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers D V Sadananda Gowda lauded the efforts of IFFCO and tweeted, ” I would like to thank @IFFCO_PR , for their commendable effort of creating awareness on #Covid19 safety measures, thermal screening, distributing Mask, Vitamin-C tablets and soaps to more than 300 farm labourers and truck drivers at Chitradurga in the state of Karnataka today.
