The Secretary in the Ministry of Cooperation, Gyanesh Kumar who is said to have kept pace with Amit Shah’s vision of a new co-op culture in the country is superannuating tomorrow on 31st January.
Kumar, who always kept a low profile and met people only when he needed to, is known for his reticence and composure.
Kumar is also credited with initiating several new initiatives in his tenure and , most of all, he lived up to the expectations of his Boss, Amit Shah, a tough task master, say many officials of the ministry on condition of anonymity.
Some of them even say given the co-op movement’s increased role in the present juncture, Kumar’s continuity is a must. They expect an extension or a consultancy assignment for him in the Ministry.
The Ministry has, meanwhile, planned to extend a farewell to Kumar on 31st January at 4 pm in the Auditorium in Atal Urja Bhawan in Delhi.
Indian Cooperative wishes him good luck in his future endeavours!
