An alleged scandal involving crores of rupees in the Guntur District Central Cooperative Bank in Andhra Pradesh has led to a verbal fight between YSR Congress Party and Telugu Desam Party, reports Hindu.
It is said 17 societies and seven bank branches are involved in the case.
The district administration has asked the Vigilance and Enforcement Department to investigate the case.
Investigations have shown that the accused used the original passbooks and secured loans using benami names and addresses.
