Greater Bombay Co-op Bank registers slight rise in profits

Mumbai based Greater Bombay Cooperative Bank saw a slight decrease in its business mix in 2023-24 FY but recorded a small increase in its profit.

The business mix of the bank decreased from Rs 3,079 (2022-23) to Rs 3,016 crore as of 31st March 2024 whereas profit grew from Rs 5.09 crore to Rs 5.29 crore in 2023-24 FY.

The net NPA and CRAR stood at 4.54 percent and 19.51 percent as of 31st March 2024 respectively.

The bank has a network of 21 branches. The Greater Bombay Co-operative Bank Ltd, more popularly known as Greater Bank, was established on 10th December 1952, when a small group of philanthropists got together to set up the bank.
