Gowda & Radadiya bag Kribhco’s prestigious awards

On the occasion of its 43rd Annual General Meeting held at Sirifort Auditorium in Delhi on Thursday, Kribhco bestowed the Sahakarita Shiromani Award and the Sahakarita Vibhushan Award on K Srinivas Gowda and Jayesh Radadiya respectively. While Srinivas Gowda is from Karnataka, Radadiya hails from Gujarat.

The recipient of the Sahakarita Shiromani award, Gowda is a well-known face in cooperative circles He is a Science Graduate and an agriculturist by profession. He had also been the M.L.A. of Karnataka state.

Gowda served as the Chairman of IFFCO for the period June 2001 to May 2004 and was also the first Chairman of Kribhco. He is also the Chairman / Director on boards of various Indian companies and cooperatives. He is the Chairman of IFFCO Tokio General Insurance Company Ltd. and also a member of the Nomination & Remuneration Committee of the company.

On this occasion Gowda thanked the Kribhco management in general and its Chairman Dr Chandra Pal Singh Yadav in particular for bestowing the Sahakarita Shiromani Award.

Radadiya was born on 20th December 1981 in Jamkandorna Village of Rajkot district in Gujarat state of India to a Patidar Family, Jayeshbhai holds a degree of BE Civil from M.S.University, Baroda.

Presently, he is the MLA from the constituency located in Rajkot and Chairman of Rajkot District Cooperative Bank. Radadiya was also the Minister of State for Water Supply & Tourism and a cabinet minister in Gujarat. He is also on the board of IFFCO, Gujcomasol and others.

In his short speech, Radadiya thanked the Kribhco management for suggesting his name. The Sahakarita Vibhushan Awardee has widely travelled across the world and has made significant efforts to bring positive changes in Cooperatives in India.

The awardees were felicitated with a cash prize of Rs 1,01,000, among other things.
