Hindu reports Telangana’s minister of cooperation S.Niranjan Reddy said the State government would increase the honorarium to the chairpersons of primary agricultural cooperative credit societies (PACS)in the state.
The increased honorarium would be based on turnover as part of the new policy for the societies.
Issuing a statement, the minister said a seven-member committee, appointed in 2019, comprising leading personalities associated with the cooperative sector had submitted its report in this connection.
According to the minister, the committee had recommended uniform rules and regulations to all employees working in the cooperative societies.
