Karnataka-based Gnanashale Souharda Co-operative Society has now been granted multi-state status by the Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies. With this new designation, the society is poised to expand its footprint into Maharashtra.
Society President Sridhar N. Rao said , “I have some exciting news to share: we are now a multi-state credit cooperative society and plan to open our branch in Kolhapur, Maharashtra,” he made this announcement during a phone conversation with this correspondent.
“The society, which began operations in a modest 10×10 room, has grown remarkably and now boasts a business mix exceeding Rs 125 crore,” Rao added.
He further said, “We are leaving no stone unturned in our journey to achieve new milestones, while continuing to serve the financial needs of the underprivileged sections of society, he emphasized.
