Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot inaugurated the farmers training center in the premises of Udaipur Milk Producers Cooperative Union on Monday, in the presence of State Cooperation Minister Udai Lal Anjana and others.
In his speech, Gehlot said, the state government is leaving no stone unturned in the development of farmers and cattle rearers. Under the Mukhyamantri Kamdhenu Pashu Bima Yojana, insurance of Rs 40,000 is being given for two Milch animals of the farmers.
Readers would recall that the Udaipur Milk Producers Cooperative Union drew the media attention recently in the wake of removal of Ms. Geeta Patel from Chairmanship and conducted the fresh election of the union on short notice. Ms. Patel belongs to BJP and has had a hold on the union for the last 15 years.
