Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said an amount of Rs 160 crore will be given as compensation interest subsidy to the central cooperative banks for providing interest free crop loans to the farmers of the state.
He made an announcement through his Twitter wall on Wednesday. Gehlot further added that, ” This decision will make it easier for the Central Co-operative Banks to maintain the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CRAR) as per the norms prescribed by the Reserve Bank of India”.
In the budget of the year 2022-23, a target of disbursement of 20 thousand crore rupees has been set under the interest free crop loan distribution scheme.
