PTI reports Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has instructed officials to take necessary steps including creating a system to protect common people from frauds of multi-state cooperative societies.
The chief minister was holding a review meeting of govt depts including the cooperative dept. Gehlot said the process of recruitment of 1,000 posts in various cooperative institutions should be expedited.
The chief minister informed that the medical sales centres of all the cooperative stores in the state will undergo digitization.
Sources said the Cooperative Department has given short term cooperative crop loans of Rs 9,541 crore to 21.86 lakh farmers in 2019-20.
