Uttarakhand based Garhwal (Kotdwara) Zila Sahakari Bank board members reviewed the financial progress of the bank recently in which it was revealed that in 2020-21 the bank earned a net profit of Rs 2.15 crore and Net NPA of the bank came below 5 percent. It was the first board meeting held after February.
On the occasion, the Bank’s Chairman Narendra Singh Rawat said that the bank is on a growth path and performing well on all financial parameters year after year. Besides, our bank will soon apply for mobile and internet banking for the customers.
The Net NPA of the bank is below 5 percent whereas the gross NPA is about 11 percent. Our bank will insure the eligible population of Pauri district Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana in this financial year, said the bank’s GM Manoj Kumar soon after the meeting.
Kumar added that we have targeted to open nine new branches at the end of the current financial year.
