Delivering the valedictory address on the occasion of the 2nd National Conference of Women Cooperators in Nagpur organized by Sahakar Bharti, Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways and MSMEs Nitin Gadkari said, “Small entrepreneurs contribute 90 percent to the country’s economic development. The goods produced by women should be marketed well”. he said.
Gadkari said the central government has made plans for the development of this sector. It is planning to increase the job opportunity in the country. The manufactured items of savings groups in rural areas are different and unique in design but they have to pay attention towards the quality of products and their packaging for a good market response, the minister added.
On the occasion Sahakar Bharati President Ramesh Vaidya, National General Secretary Uday Joshi and others were present.
It bears recall that the two-day conference was inaugurated by Anusiya Uikey, Governor of Chhattisgarh.
