Gadkari participated at daily Loksatta’s event

Indian Express quotes union minister Nitin Gadkari saying at the Loksatta’s urban cooperative banking e-enclave there would be no forced privatization of cooperative banks.

Addressing the e-enclave, Gadkari said he would act as a bridge between the co-operative banks in Maharashtra and the Finance Ministry, RBI, NABARD and the state government.

The minister called upon co-operative banks to compete with private banks to make an impression on lawmakers in Delhi.

Gadkari said cooperative banks have supported the economy of the country and Maharashtra.
