Arjunrao Gadhe has been elected as the Chairman of Maharashtra based Aurangabad District Central Cooperative Bank.
After the resignation of Nitin Patil as the Chairman, Gadhe was given the charge of Chairman for more than one month but now he has become the full-fledged Chairman of the bank with the support of board of directors for the remaining term of the board. Earlier, he was the Vice-Chairman of the bank.
Talking to the Indian Cooperative, Gadhe said, “We will work together to take the bank to newer heights. We are in second position in the Marathwada region but we are planning to come in first place. Besides, our plan is to become one of the top 5 DCCBs of Maharashtra”.
It is said that Gadhe is very close to Abdul Sattar and Sandipan Bhumre, the two strong politicians in the Aurangabad district, who are in the group of Ekanth Shinde, Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
One of the bank’s directors Satish Chavan wrote on ‘X’, “A special meeting would have been organized today for the election of the President of Aurangabad District Central Cooperative Bank. Arjunrao Gadhe was elected unopposed as the Chairman of the bank. Congratulations and wish him good luck in his future work”.
