In his second attack of the day against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi said that the government had caused some serious damage to the farmers of the country.
Speaking to the media, Gandhi said that the Modi government had kept cooperative banks out of the entire process and had caused serious damage to the farmers by questioning their honey and integrity. PM must also think about the issues faced by the farmers and waive off their loans, Rahul said.
On Wednesday, the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee handed over 2 crore ‘Kisan Maang Patra’ to Congress Vice President. On the occasion, Gandhi said that the Congress had promised to make sure that the demands of the farmers reach the government.
This just merely hours after the Congress VP had attacked the PM on charges of corruption.
