Finishing touch: Sanghani & team visit Vigyan Bhawan

A core team led by NCUI President Deelipbhai Sanghani took stock of preparations related to the mega cooperative Conclave on the occasion of 100th International Day of Cooperatives at Vigyan Bhawan on Sunday afternoon. The mega co-op event is being inaugurated by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah.

Those accompanying Sanghani included Amit Shah’s OSD K K Tripathy, NCUI CEO Sudhir Mahajan, PS Ritesh Dey, Ved Prakash Setia, Senior officials Ved Prakash Setia, Ashish Dwivedi, Sanjay Khana and others. “It is for the first time that Amitbhai is coming to address a co-op meeting organized by NCUI”, said an excited Sanghani. We do not wish to leave any loose ends, he added.

Sanghani and his team reviewed the preparations from entry point to exit point. “Many cooperators from across the country have come to Delhi and many are on their way to attend the event” said one of the members who went to Vigyan Bhawan to take stock of arrangements.

Besides Shah, some of the key dignitaries to grace the occasion include B.L. Verma, MoS Cooperation; Parshottam Rupala, Union Minister for Dairy and Fisheries; Suresh Prabhu, Former Union Minister; Dr Chandra Pal Singh, President, ICA-AP, Bijender Singh, Chairman, NAFED, Gyanesh Kumar, Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation.
