Farmers’ anger at the shortage of fertilisers in MP is showing no signs of abating. Farmers held angry demonstrations in Vidisha, Sironj , Guna,and Rajgarh.
In Sihore district in Nasrullaganj in village Rala farmers looted trucks loaded with fertilisers destined for a cooperative society. Here two farmers have been on a hunger strike for the last five days.
In Vidisha, farmers held a rally blocking Sagar-Bhopal highway. In Sironj also farmers held a noisy rally blocking the vehicular traffic.
In Guna the non-availability of fertiliser at Nanakheri Galla Mandi angered farmers who began blocking the AB Road. The police had to use mild force to disperse the agitated farmers.
