Employees of Tiruchi State Primary Co-op Bank protest

Hindu reports nearly six hundred people belonging to the Tiruchi wing of the Tamil Nadu State Primary Cooperative Bank All Employees Association (TACBEA) recently presented their 15-point charter of demands before district authorities.

The protesters said they would not work on January 5 if their demands were not fulfilled.

The agitated workers accused higher functionaries of indulging in an arbitrary use of power and not paying any heed to the workers’ needs and plight.
