The Cooperative Election Authority has released the election schedule for the Board of Directors (BoD) of Maharashtra based Akola Urban Cooperative Bank. The elections are set to be held on 08th December 2024.
In a recent order, the authority appointed the District Magistrate or Collector of Akola as the Returning Officer to oversee the election process.
A total of 69228 members and 6721 societies are eligible to vote in the upcoming election. The election process will formally commence on 14th November 2024, with the nomination open from 26th November to 29th November 2024.
The scrutiny of nomination papers will take place on 30th November 2024, and candidates can withdraw their nominations until 02nd December 2024. The final list of candidates will be published on the same day, with polling scheduled for 08th December 2024.
Vote counting will occur on 11th December 2024, with the official results declared on 13rd December, following approval from the Cooperative Election Authority.
The elections for office bearers, including the Chairman and Vice-Chairman, will take place on 18th December 2024, with results announced after approval from the authority.
