The ED matter will come for hearing at a local court on October 16. Both Mumbai Police and ED are probing into the scam involving ? 25,000 Crores.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar (NCP Ajit Pawar) has received the biggest relief. Ajit Pawar has got relief in the alleged scam of Rs 25,000 in Maharashtra Co-operative bank. Mumbai Police has filed a closure report in the Sessions Court.

The Mumbai Police had closed the case saying there is no evidence to prosecute the accused. Of the 70 accused, 50 belong to Nationalist Congress party, nine from Congress, two from Shiv Sena and one from BJP. The list of accused includes Maharashtra deputy CM Ajit Pawar and NCP Chief Sharad Pawar.
