In a bid to bring transparency, the central government is planning to computerize 7479 PACs of Uttar Pradesh and also install one micro ATM in each society, says a media report.
About Rs, 210 crores will be spent on the computerization of 7479 PACS operating in the state. About three lakh rupees will be spent on the computerization of each PAC, while about 25 thousand rupees will be spent on the installation of a micro ATM in PACs.
Officials sources said the computerization of primary societies would bring about a historic change in the agriculture sector. With the computerization of PACS, the data of all the farmers of every village would be with PACS.
