Union Agriculture and Famers Welfare Minister Shri Radha Mohan Singh said the Central Government is making every effort to prevent farmers’ exploitation and interference of middlemen in selling their crops.
Addressing a Press Conference in Moradabad, Singh said the central government is building Agriculture Markets at the National Level. These markets will be linked with E-Markets. The government will set-up 600 E-Markets, so that no one could cheat the farmers.
He further said 600 E-Markets will be opened in the coming two years and in Uttar Pradesh alone we will set-up 200 National Agriculture E-Markets.
For E-Markets Government will also give fund as well experts for technical development in every district, Singh added.
