Bihar State Milk Cooperative Federation (Comfed) will soon launch cholesterol-free ghee under its famous brand name ‘Sudha’ which is bound to bring relief to people suffering from hypertension, diabetes and heart complications, reports Times of India.
The cholesterol-free product would be available on the market around Durga Puja, Comfed MD said.
Besides cholesterol-free ghee, the Comfed is also going to launch a multi-nutrient drink, ‘Bal Sudha’, for malnourished children. It also plans to launch packs of ‘Makhana-kheer’ and ready-to-eat mix of ‘dahi-chura’,” said a source.
Bal Sudha’ milk would be distributed among the malnourished children through government-run Anganbari centres in three select districts on a pilot basis.
