A special event was organized at the Ganga Maiya Temple in New Delhi to celebrate Women’s Day and Holi Milan. The program commenced with a cooperative song and the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, with around 70-75 women in attendance.
Women’s leader Sunita Mehra delivered a detailed talk on women’s empowerment, emphasizing its importance in today’s society. Bimla Koli highlighted the life and contributions of Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar, while Santosh Gupta provided insights into modern cultural values.
Additionally, Sunita Sundariyal educated the attendees on the significance of forming Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and Nishi shared valuable information about credit societies.
Laxmi spoke on the role and activities of Sahakar Bharati, an organization focused on cooperative development. Other participants also contributed their views and knowledge.
The event concluded with a closing prayer led by Sunita Mehra, marking a successful gathering of women aimed at fostering awareness, empowerment, and cultural unity. Delhi Pradesh Women’s Leader Sunita Mehra expressed gratitude to all participants.
