Delhi’s Jamia Co-op Bank honours rat-hole miners

In a philanthropic move, Delhi based Jamia Cooperative Bank gave a cheque of Rs 50k each to the 12 rat-hole miners who rescued the 41 workers trapped inside the collapsed Silkyara tunnel.

They were felicitated in a glittering event organized at the India Islamic Culture Centre on the occasion of the bank’s foundation day.

The bank Chairman MQH Beg handed over the cheque to the rat-hole miners and praised their efforts in rescuing the lives of workers.
