A Delhi Assembly committee has decided to submit a report on irregularities observed in the Delhi Nagrik Sahakari Bank to House Speaker Ram Niwas Goel.
The “repeated summons” to bureaucrats over the issue landed in the court recently in the wake of AAP-bureaucrats tussle. AAP MLA Saurabh Bharadwaj said that former Chief Secretary M.M. Kutty was notified to appear before the high court to answer some questions in the matter and inform about the action taken in the case.
Readers would recall the Delhi High Court has green-lighted the management elected in the recently held election of Delhi Nagarik Sahakari Bank to form the board.
It bears recall that the Delhi High Court had stayed the election result of Delhi Nagrik Sahakari Bank till 11th of January 2018. The court gave this stay verdict while considering petitions filed by the members against the irregularities committed in the election of the bank.
